KINDA WEIRD. But not for the reasons one would expect! Its not that she is really older or anything. Just. The Exorcists are all mostly very young, the core team is anyway. And they're never treated as children by most people--they're soldiers. They're fighters. They're tools. Like when Rabi and Lenalee get locked up when the Order is attacked. When the matron mothers them a bit.
The two of them really don't know what to do with this concern and kindness. Matron has to FORCE it on them. The two of them are so use to toughing it out something as simple as bandaging a minor wound, getting shoes on their bare feet--it catches them off guard. It comes across as unnecessary! We're EXORCISTS dude! We're use to making craters in walls with our bodies and then getting back to our feet to keep fighting!
Who the hell thinks of a tool, a warrior, a fighter...as their widdle baby to protect.
What did Sharon think of the little she had heard of Rabi's lolroad memory? kerselfishquestions
SHE WORRIED :( she always worries about when people have bad memories! The worst thing for her is knowing that she can't help them because these are things that have already happened [x] amount of time in the past--the most she can do is be supportive. :( But she didn't really want to bully Rabi into TELL ME YOUR PROBLEMSSSSSSSS when he was having such a rough time of it, and it was (in their thread) her teasing that led him to shotgunning the memory in the first place.
If she had her druthers she would've fussed and given him tea and basically motherhenned him the whole time. YOU CANNOT ESCAPE MEEEEEE +_+
What is a memory you're looking forward to giving Rabi :o
Eyeball parasites. Although it is admittedly the worst thing he could get back and would freak him the hell out. Probably send himself to stay elsewhere for at least the night cuz he wouldn't want Ruka to overhear him thinking FUCK I'M GONNA DIE. SERIOUSLY GONNA DIE.
Alternatively, childhood war memories!
I wanted to pick positive memories but honestly. For Rabi he kind of has so FEW of those its hard. Even a good situation is colored by Bookman's extreme disapproval.
What did Sharon think of that deaging game a bit back?
She would've liked it a lot more if it hadn't been a game as well--like, she likes children and she thinks they're adorable but she's not ... very good with them? Rabi was the one she felt she had the most success with because he was such a serious and mature little kid. While she's got that maternal streak, she does better with people who are willing to be sensible. Everyone else it was just like FUSS FUSS FUSS WHO CAN WORRY ABOUT A GAME WHEN I HAVE TINY(ER THAN ME) PEOPLE TO LOOK AFTER!
