THINGS ARE PRETTY UNCHANGED, except that Allen gets progressively more comfortable with Rabi each time they thread and so it's like \:D/ ALL THE DERE. AS DERE AS HE CAN GET AT THIS POINT and it is all for Rabi yay. MY BUDDYYYY +_+ DON'T LEAVE ME RABIIIII.

WE SHOULD PLAY ALLEN AND RAVEN! Because Allen likes Tiger's Eye pretty decently for a team that doesn't have any of His People on it. And I sort of headcanon that he likes to casually appear around Tiger's Eye around mealtimes just in case Dusk has leftovers. The bastard owes me a pie!!

ALLEN ISSSSSSSsssssssssssssssss still kind of mixed feelings on Obsidian! Because the one person in Aather that he really outright dislikes/distrusts is Vincent! And he's not stupid, he can tell that Vincent is important to Obsidian, and he's like +____+;; how much do I really want to get into this ... nnnnot much. Because he also knows that if someone insulted Fallout to his face--even if he agreed with anything they said, he would try to punch that person in the face. YOU DON'T TALK TRASH ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE'S GOOD FRIEND UNLESS YOU'RE WILLING TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES \:D/ so he likes Obsidian well enough and thinks he is hella cool, but is a lot more cautious around him than, say, Kyouko (his favorite person on Iolite).

FOR MIKAGE--he likes the baby dragon better, sorry :( on the other hand, he also doesn't dislike Mikage-the-human! He just had an easier time when he was this small cute fluffy thing that he could talk to and not feel judged by. Ccccautiously optimistic of liking? Would still spoil the babydragon if he saw him again.

Sharon thinks that Obsidian is totally a charming young man who just happens to be a dragon. :) He seems to be good for Snow and he likes others on her team and is kind to them, so the mommyloli is pretty much relaxed and fond of him as she is of any human.

MIKAGE IS ADORABLE THOUGH :'DDDDD she doesn't differentiate between him being the baby dragon or the human boy; she finds them both adorable and charming. :3 IF POSSIBLE she'd like to kidnap the babydragon more because ahhhhh so cute ♥!! but the boy is also super adorable too. :3a WOULD PROBABLY FLIRT WITH HIM JUST A LITTLE especially if it makes him smile.

Mau is definitely in Allen's top five people in Aather--he's one of the people that Allen sort of defines his time here by! Rabi and Lenalee are "before Aather" and kind of occupy their own special place in his heart, but Mau (along with Excel and Mal) have also made their own mark on him! HE LOEV THEM LIKE FAMBLY! PEOPLE BETTER STEP OFF THEM IF THEY KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR THEM! He never really considers Mau's age as a limiting factor at all--Allen himself is what, only like a year, a year and a half? older than Mau, and he doesn't consider age or gender to be something that limits you if you have determination! And with their various trauma games and the fact that Mau could deal with him as he was when he first got to Aather--Allen is pretty sure Mau could handle whatever he needed to! It doesn't mean he'd want to burden Mau deliberately, but he would trust Mau to handle it if he had to say something without pulling his punches.

ON SAPPHIRE ... Allen is proud of his scrappy little team! He kind of mentally divides them between "protectors" and "protectees" which happen to also fall along the lines of "people he feels close to" and "people he feels more distant towards," but in the end Sapphire is his team and they are underdogs and THEY WILL NEVER SAY DIE! YEAH!! Just because he's not in the cabin a lot doesn't mean he thinks less of them--he's just a restless sort of guy. :|a But Sapphire is like his surrogate Black Order in a lot of ways, and he at least trusts them to be able to handle him and still accept him EVEN WHEN HE IS A JERKFACE. It's nice. :(

IT IS NOT A SNAKE IT IS A CAT DIVING INTO A BOX.

HA HA HA HA uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh gosh.

OKAY SO ... Allen doesn't really ... he still doesn't quite 100% trust people as a whole. He trusts maybe ten people in Aather tops, but to different degrees. At the highest tier are his canonmates, and then IMMEDIATELY BELOW THAT is the triumvate of Mal/Excel/Mau. He trusts Rabi and Lenalee with the terrible memories and the truth of himself (and the name Allen), and he trusts those three members of his team to make the right/hard decisions for Sapphire, and he trusts them to deal with him as he is in Aather, prickly and wary and distant towards most people.

After that, it's kind of varying degrees of ... people being people. He trusts Wrath to get it when he admits he has a hard time with people, he trusts the rest of Sapphire to be Sapphire and therefore "his team," he trusts Lloyd to understand his philosophy even if the particulars are different--and on the flipside he trusts some people to be assholes and idiots and creepy bastards! HE IS PRETTY ZEN WITH THAT!

Basically he's gone up a gradient step--he's gone from automatically distrusting everyone to being cautious, but not outright shutting them down. But for the most part he puts actions over words, just like he always has! And he doesn't differentiate between being in games versus being outside of them, so he tends to really distrust people on teams who pick themselves over others. You can argue with him all you like that you're a good person oh nooooo I would never! but if you don't back up what you say with what you do, he'll just kind of roll his eyes and be like w/e w/e come back when you can back yourself up and prove it!

He's basically gotten back his most dere and loving/trusting memory at this point, and the longer he's had to assimilate it, the better he'll be about it, but overall ... he will definitely weigh what you do versus what you say, and judge you based on that. :|a

I CAME BACK TO THIS LAST SO I COULD GIVE MYSELF TIME TO THINK well okay I left Vincent's too, but she's a hooker who asked more than one.

RIGHT NOW--Allen mostly thinks of himself as "Red," still. It's acknowledging his remembered past as a child who was hated and abused because of his arm while reclaiming it as a big F U to those people! YOU WERE TRYING TO USE IT TO MAKE ME A NON-ENTITY BUT HA HA I HAVE MADE IT A NAME! It also distances him from being "Winter," which most people probably don't remember at this point, but for Allen it's like ... it sort of gave him a mini-complex about people expecting something out of him that he wasn't, especially since the more he heard about Winter, the less he really felt like he was the same person as this guy. (Recently he's come more to terms with that, but it's not something he'll concretely decide or say aloud.)

And then hilariously one of his first memories recovered gave him back the name "Allen"--and right now he (I will just use Red to differentiate at this point) has a lot of the same feelings towards Allen as he does Winter. He let Sion see it and Sion has since been super awkward about calling him "Allen" and sometimes insisting on it and being weird about him using the name "Red" still, which in turn sort of severely drove down trust points in Sion! At this point Red only trusts the name "Allen" to Rabi and Lenalee because they're his most important people and he loev them and that is how they know him. He doesn't think of it as like, "I will be Red forever and Allen never again," though--he's not 100% comfortable accepting yet that he is Allen; he needs more time and more space to adjust, as well as more memories to help cement himself.

So right now it's like RED |--------------------------------------| ALLEN and every memory he regains and every time he thinks about it and accepts little more pieces of himself, that gap gets shorter. There will probably come a point where he'll acknowledge that he's "Allen [Walker]" (he hasn't gotten back the 'Walker' part yet, hilariously) and start gently trying to get people to use that for himself. FOR NOW THOUGH, he identifies as Red, and that is how he wants other people to see him--he wants to be judged for who and what he is in Aather and nothing else (Rabi and Lenalee get free pass, of course). Even if he's an asshole, even if he's a jerk, at least these are his actions and he can own them! And that's what he wants people to see when they look at him--"Red the Sapphire," not "Allen Walker." IN TIME "Red" and "Allen" will be the same person even in his own mind, but until then! UNTIL THEN! He will keep them separate.

I really hope that his sigpos of becoming Allen Walker is sharable too, so he can share it with the people he's tried to explain this to ICly.

MR STUPID FACE LIKES MITCHELL! IN THAT SORT OF WARY "AM I ACTUALLY MAKING FRIENDS WITH OTHER PEOPLE?! \o_o/?!?!?!?!" WAY!

actually Mitchell was probably the first Tiger's Eye that he felt decently--not quite comfortable, but less wary around? Kite came on too strongly for him when he first arrived, and everyone else was freaking about OMG OMG WINTER?! but Mitchell ... was kind of sensible and not nice-nice but at least not a total jerkface. And made an effort to talk to him as a sensible person! Which counted for a hell of a lot! So he's got ambivalent-towards-good feelings on Mitchell, which tipped a lot further when Mitchell said that he liked Sapphire. Y-yay, someone likes my team?! SOMEONE WHO ISN'T MY TEAM LIKES MY TEAM-- yay!!

so really Tiger's Eye is probably Allen's favorite team that doesn't have castmates on it \:D/

DERA IS STILL ALLEN'S FAVORITE RUBY! He actually is pretty wary/not too fond of the team as a whole, but--like I said to Mau above, Dera is someone he trusts to get it when he says "so yeah, DEALING WITH PEOPLE IS TOUGH." Onnnn the other hand--yeah he doesn't super trust Ruby and he knows that some of those people he doesn't like are ones that Dera really does! So he tries to be as tactful about it as he can, out of respect for Dera's feelings. He doesn't want to alienate Dera because FRIEND! but he's also kind of like :|a how does I handle me not liking your team and you not liking one of my most important people, hrrrrrrrrrr. IT IS HIS DILEMMA.

Yayoi is That Girl On Turquoise, mostly. He's ambivalent to neutral on her, because most of the cool stuff she did in the heart game ... happened when he wasn't around, haha. XD At the very least he has no bad impressions of her--and he feels more kinship with Turquoise in terms of being blue teams and underdogs that dragged themselves out of the mud etc etc. So he would talk to her again if he saw her! And he'd try to behave! And apologize if he failed at it. :|a

ALLEN HAS LOTS OF CONFLICTED FEELINGS ON GUY!

On the one hand he sort gets that Guy is a nice guy (ha ha ha) and that he has reasonable arguments and comments--but there is still this sort of kneejerk URGHHHH feeling towards knights as a whole. ALSO JUST--most of the people who called him "Winter" when he first arrive have taken the longest to have him warm up to them, because he's so :E about HIS IDENTITY! HIS! AHH!! and having there been another-him in Aather just sort of bugs him.

But at least Guy succeeded in making him rethink some of his attitude, if not his ultimate philosophy, so he does win respect points for that.

ITACHI IS LIKE ... that mysterious cool dude who is really impressive and Allen wants to impress him too but ... isn't really sure how. :U He feels like Itachi is really opaque--he doesn't feel like he connects very much, but Itachi managed to impress him and he wants to be cool too! How does Sharon feel about Ukoku?

She trusts him about as far as she can throw him with her tiny ladylike hands :'D But she's really good at just rolling with it--as long as he doesn't make overly aggressive moves towards Kunzite as a whole, she's mostly content to play nice and politick with him, as it were. Primarily she worries about the influence he has on Reim and the more impressionable members of the team--especially after Naruto confided his worries to her--but she also recognizes his type and knows that the best way of dealing with him isn't necessarily to confront him head-on.

If he does anything overt to Kunzite she will act--and she'll do the the same if she witnesses any violence, but FOR THE MOST PART! She's playing it safe.

Which is to say he's a bit taken aback at how she describes her team, but he was pretty grouchy about Sapphire/the whole situation when he first got here too, and he got over it, so he doesn't see why she won't eventually either! HE THINKS SHE'S CRAZY BECAUSE OF THE BOOK PROJECT oh my gawwwwwwd there are too many people here and you want to get information from all of them? really? really?? That's crazy talk, woman.

He otherwise thinks she's got a pretty good head on her shoulders and cautiously counts her as one of his friends. (Cautiously mostly because he himself is sort of like :U wat iz frienz how does I.)

HOW DID I MISS THIS \o_o/

Allen is generally predisposed to be more okay with Tiger's Eye--his mental ranking of ATTEMPT TO BE ON GOOD BEHAVIOR FOR goes Sappire-->Kunzite/Coral-->Tiger's Eye. So while he's still a highly suspicious guy, he had no active dislike against Josh in the first place, and then Josh handled himself well in tolerating him, so he went up some in general estimation! OVERALL, not bad, would talk to again if they ran into each other.
