OKAY SO ... Allen doesn't really ... he still doesn't quite 100% trust people as a whole. He trusts maybe ten people in Aather tops, but to different degrees. At the highest tier are his canonmates, and then IMMEDIATELY BELOW THAT is the triumvate of Mal/Excel/Mau. He trusts Rabi and Lenalee with the terrible memories and the truth of himself (and the name Allen), and he trusts those three members of his team to make the right/hard decisions for Sapphire, and he trusts them to deal with him as he is in Aather, prickly and wary and distant towards most people.
After that, it's kind of varying degrees of ... people being people. He trusts Wrath to get it when he admits he has a hard time with people, he trusts the rest of Sapphire to be Sapphire and therefore "his team," he trusts Lloyd to understand his philosophy even if the particulars are different--and on the flipside he trusts some people to be assholes and idiots and creepy bastards! HE IS PRETTY ZEN WITH THAT!
Basically he's gone up a gradient step--he's gone from automatically distrusting everyone to being cautious, but not outright shutting them down. But for the most part he puts actions over words, just like he always has! And he doesn't differentiate between being in games versus being outside of them, so he tends to really distrust people on teams who pick themselves over others. You can argue with him all you like that you're a good person oh nooooo I would never! but if you don't back up what you say with what you do, he'll just kind of roll his eyes and be like w/e w/e come back when you can back yourself up and prove it!
He's basically gotten back his most dere and loving/trusting memory at this point, and the longer he's had to assimilate it, the better he'll be about it, but overall ... he will definitely weigh what you do versus what you say, and judge you based on that. :|a

Single castmate? Prrrrobably Aqua, though it's hard to decide between her and Terra. They would both be BEST NEW AATHERMATE EVER for Ven.
So I heard that Sharon and Oz had a thing and then didn't have a thing, has she considered dating anyone else?

The thing that happened with Oz was such a surprise to her, but it also sort of made her realize that what she wants is her ~one true knight~ to come sweep her off her feet. The breakup was really amiable and she still cares a lot for Oz and hopes that he and Gil will be happy! AND SHE HOPES SOMEDAY IT WILL HAPPEN FOR HER~~~
Someday she'll realize that her one true knight is this totally worthless lumpy adult and then she'll just sort of sigh and smile and then drag him off by the ear to scold him for keeping things from her yet again.

Date: 2011-07-14 04:28 pm (UTC)Some vague ideas, but I'm sortof mostly leaving it up to the mods? He is kind of quintessentially Emerald in some ways. Peridot could also work pretty well for him but obviously that can't happen. Turqoise would be a disaster for age reasons (he's chronologically 24, physically 30) and like hell Turqoise needs another introvert anyway. Ruby would just be all the fighting and drama ever. Kunzite or probably Coral would be pretty goddamn awkward because at most times, he is not going to know what to do with people being sweet and nice and nurturing to him.
So mostly I know ruleouts more than positives, but there are also some teams I don't know as well.
Where do you want your third to go?

So of course he'll be on Sterling to default, though it depends on how much I can kick AJ's ass into threading Beauty off me once I get him in, because he's a very ... jjjjudgey sort of guy? He doesn't mind working for what he feels is the greater good at all, but he is also the sort of guy who would proactively adjust his own situation if he doesn't feel like the person in charge is doing a good enough job helping/protecting those under their power. So if Beauty remains absent but Maleficent is around, he would switch to Onyx because then he'd know who he was working for and there's a face he can put to his directives.
If he DOES thread with Beauty enough, it'll depend on how they hit it off--whether he feels like he can help/needs to protect her versus just being exasperated with her. It could honestly go either way, so I am hesitant to put down a concrete "he'll definitely stay Sterling" or "he'll definitely go to Onyx." :|a
