Date: 2011-07-14 06:07 am (UTC)He was very confused by the switch from babydragon to human all of a sudden, but two of his first threads were with Konatsu and Lloyd, and they were both influential in good ways! He picked up some reassurance re: the whole I AM A REINCARNATION by talking to Konatsu about the three wishes, and he picked up the knight role more easily after being told he was a cadet. Okay I fought to protect people! I can do that here too! And Shuri's from his world too, so yay people who can answer his questions, yay a purpose in this new place.
Lloyd was a good influence for learning how to interact with people. Other people are dead here, be careful how you mention reincarnation or they'll be upset by it. Being playful and dorking around is funner than shyness, let's try more of that! And heeeey if you can fake being cheery, people won't pick up on your lonliness/unsureness which avoids awakwardness! And it just gave someone fun to talk to, which really actually goes a long way for Mikage and Burupya's comfort levels.
AND SHARON AND VEN AND RUKA WERE SUPER FOR MIKAGE'S MINDSET. Cheerful fun people who are okay with the babydragon thing, and a cute boy that was okay with it AND gave him a quest! They're working him over his little bits of insecurity, although he's still going to be initially shy of people who knew Burupya first. Aaaand the good threads outweigh his one really poor reaction thread, which was with Ferris- he was extremely off-put by her attitude towards being Burupya, which included a comment about how becoming a human isn't that exciting. It reinforced the negativity of people favoring Burupya's form more, but it also made him more inclined to just ingore people who do that. Forget them, I will find more Sharons and Vens and Rukas to play with, and I will convert the Allen Walkers and Konatsus!!!
He's still too out-of-place to feel comfortable going around and introducing himself to all the Sterlings, BUT
OVERALL
HE IS A LITTLE CATERPILLAR OF SHYNESS THAT WAS QUICKLY WRAPPED IN LAYERS OF FRIENDLY FLUFF, AND HE IS WELL ON HIS WAY TO EMERGING FROM HIS COCOON AS A SOCIAL BUTTERFLY
but today he is going to be a babydragon again in that Tiger's Eye pie post once I finish more icons
o and he is also completely ignoring the amnesiac issue \:D/
what would Sharon and Allen name Mikage if they had to give him a fourth name, I'M SORRY I DON'T ASK DEEP QUESTIONS

... Allen would call him "Fluffy." I'm sorry.
